Liverpool 3-3 Man United, Jan 1994
One of the greatest Premier League games of all time?
This classic from the ‘90s saw a wonderful United side storm into a 3-0 lead inside 30 minutes.
A Steve Bruce header, a sumptuous Denis Irwin free-kick and a Ryan Giggs chip highlighted just how far United had risen and how far Liverpool had fallen in recent years.
Thankfully for the home side, Nigel Clough had other ideas; restoring some pride by bringing the Reds to within one goal by half time with two well taken strikes.
The game ebbed and flowed but it was Neil Ruddock who eventually got the goal which levelled proceedings with a powerful header late on.
Perhaps the last great match in front of the old standing Kop.
