With only Manchester City in the top-six dropping points at the weekend, before responding with a victory against Burnley yesterday, Arsenal need a victory to retain third-spot in the Premier League- whilst Manchester United’s win has put them just a point behind.
The Gunners know that they can put pressure upon both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur with a victory, with the pair clashing on Wednesday, and they can move to just one point behind Liverpool in second-spot with a victory over Bournemouth.
Eddie Howe’s side will be a stern test though, as Arsenal needed to work hard to secure a victory in the reverse clash earlier this season whilst the Cherries have overcome Liverpool this season, showing themselves to be fierce opponents.
However, Arsenal will be the favourites for victory and this XI will be enough to see off their South Coast opponents. Hit the navigation buttons below to advance through pages!
GK: Petr Cech
First-choice at Arsenal, there is no reason for the Gunners to switch things around between the sticks as Petr Cech will earna rest this weekend in the FA Cup- where David Ospina will come in to continue a trend that Arsenal have adopted for the past few seasons.
Having put a poor run without a clean-sheet to rest over the New Year, now securing two in a row, Cech will be hoping to make it three on the bounce tomorrow as a first-choice defence returns in front of him.
