Liverpool have been flying high under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp and the weekend’s victory over Manchester City gives them a solid advantage over the chasing pack outside of the top-four, now four points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
With a six-point deficit to Chelsea though, who look unstoppable, the Reds have a lot of work to do this year if they are to establish themselves as regular title contenders and compete in the Champions League once again.
Over the past few years, Liverpool have seen a host of players establish themselves from the fringes but have lost talented youngsters like Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe from their youth ranks- making the aim for 2017 to keep their young talents at Anfield.
Fortunately for them, there is a wealth of talented starlets coming through the youth academy and these four youngsters could make a name for themselves this calendar year and may establish themselves as regulars in the first-team fold.
