Aston Villa striker Rudy Gestede is on the radars of Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough, per The Telegraph.
Gestede has only featured 13 times for Villa this season scoring four goals but the Benin forward did play in the Premier League last season scoring six goals in 25 appearances.
The 28-year-old made his name at Blackburn scoring just under an average of one goal every two games. Gestede has also spent time with Cardiff City and French sides Metz and Cannes.
Middlesbrough have struggled in front of goal this season scoring just 16 league goals. However, Aitor Karanka’s side did fire three past Swansea this past weekend and summer signing Alvaro Negredo has now scored five this season.
Goals haven’t been an issue for Crystal Palace who, despite being near the foot of the table, are the 6th highest scorers in the Premier League. However, the addition of Gestede could help move Palace climb away from the relegation zone.
