Competition: Premier League Date: Wednesday 14th December 2016 Venue: Etihad Stadium Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT
Manchester City are once again without captain Vincent Kompany but Nicolas Otamendi returns from suspension and could be recalled into the defensive line.
Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho have proved to be big misses recently and remain suspended here.
Watford are without injured quad Kenedy, Brice Dja Djedje, Craig Cathcart and Adrian Mariappa.
Younes Kaboul and Valon Behrami are both doubts.
Manchester City have been on a woeful run recently and the weekend’s 4-2 defeat to Leicester means the Citizens have now won only four of their last 15 games in all competitions. Losing ground in the title race, a result is necessary here- especially ahead of the visit of Arsenal this weekend.
Watford’s away form has been poor recently but their victory over Everton at the weekend lifted them to seventh in the Premier League. That gives them a good platform to build upon and their value their chances ahead of tomorrow’s clash.
In the end though, City should have enough about them to secure all three points but it certainly won’t be easy.
