The Champions League Round of 16 draw was made this morning, deciding the fate of the sixteen clubs that advanced through to this stage- including Arsenal, Manchester City and Leicester City.
Arsenal will be cursing their luck after landing Bayern Munich once again despite winning their group for the first-time in six years, which gives Arsene Wenger’s side another huge test if they are to end their poor run in the knock-out stages of European football.
Leicester City may also be unhappy with their draw as they didn’t land a glamour tie, although the challenge of facing consecutive Europa League winners Sevilla will be a stern test for Claudio Ranieri’s men.
Manchester City, meanwhile, managed to land a fortunate draw despite being unseeded, as they tackle Monaco, but the French outfit should not be taken lightly as they’ve already caused Tottenham Hotspur problems this season.
Elsewhere, defending champions Real Madrid will face Napoli whilst Barcelona will come toe-to-toe with Paris Saint-Germain and the other two German clubs, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, face Benfica and Atletico Madrid respectively.
