Dortmund need only a point to secure top spot in Group F. Beating Madrid is always a tough ask so Thomas Tuchel may well play slightly more defensive than usual to make sure his side progress as group winners.
After a gruelling El Classico on the weekend, Madrid may be the more weary of the two teams going into this match. Dortmund convincingly saw off Borussia Monchengladbach 4-1 on the weekend and are in decent form going into this match especially in the Champions League.
Expect madrid to dominate posession but Dortmund will break quickly as they always do once they recieve the ball. Madrid have enough quality in their squad to beat Dortmund and top the group, but it will not be easy as the 2-2 draw in Germany earlier in the season showed.
Dortmund scored a record-equalling eight goals in the Champions League against Legia Warsaw last time out.
Both sides are undefeated in the Champions League this season.
Madrid have won this competition eleven times. Dortmund just once in 1997.
