Manchester City star Yaya Toure would benefit from a move to French club Olympique de Marseille according to his brother.
Kolo, now plying his trade at Celtic in the SPL believes a change of scenery would be good for Yaya as he continues to be frozen out at City by new manager Pep Guardiola. A move to Marseille would make sense for Yaya and Kolo commented on the situation saying:
“He still has talent and some things to prove. It’s certain that it’s difficult at City right now.
“We have all been through that. You’re at the top at one moment, and then you go back down. You have to understand that you need a change of scenery, go to a place where people want you.
“I haven’t spoken about it with him. He’s still at City, I respect that. But Marseille is a super club and he knows the French league well.”
Yaya has made only made one appearance for City this season and is finding life difficult. Guardiola has had a falling out with Yaya’s agent and it is unlikely that he will feature for the club again.
