Arsenal are currently performing very admirably in all competitions, as they stand unbeaten in 16 matches since an opening day defeat to Liverpool, but it’s fair to say that Arsene Wenger still has some issues that need to be fixed.
The Premier League this season is frighteningly competitive as Arsenal compete with Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea for the title, whilst Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United aren’t too far behind.
Arsenal are at a bit of a disadvantage compared to Chelsea and Liverpool as they have European football to worry about, which is putting pressure on their entire squad to perform up to scratch as rotation is necessary to maintain freshness.
So far, everything has gone swimmingly but a few injury issues or poor performances could easily change the situation, so Arsenal should definitely look to improve their squad.

A name familiar to Arsenal fans, having seen the Wolfsburg full-back linked with a move to North London over the summer, the Gunners should reignite their interest in January- especially with the German side stuck 14th in the Bundesliga.
An international full-back with Switzerland, Rodriguez would be a significant upgrade on Arsenal’s current options at left-back as Nacho Monreal has looked shaky at times this term, whilst Kieran Gibbs has also failed to impress when given his chance.
Crucially, Wolfsburg aren’t in Europe this season so Rodriguez would be able to feature in the knock-out stages of the Champions League for the Gunners.
