Competition: Premier League Date: Saturday 22nd October 2016 Venue: Turf Moor Kick-Off: 15:00 BST
Burnley are without the injured Steven Defour and Andre Gray serves the last of a four-match suspension, whilst Ashley Barnes will also miss out.
Patrick Bamford may be handed his first start of the season in attack alongside Sam Vokes due to Defour’s absence, with the Clarets reverting to a 4-4-2.
Everton are without injured trio Tyias Browning, Muhamed Besic and Matthew Pennington, whilst Leighton Baines continues to struggle to shake-off his own injury problem and Bryan Oviedo may continue ahead of him.
Ross Barkley should be restored to the starting line-up after being dropped last weekend.
Burnley have struggled to find consistency in the Premier League this season, winning just two of their eight matches so far, but the Clarets’ only defeat in their last four league matches at home was against Arsenal. That form will give them confidence but there’s no mistaking they’re the weaker side for this one.
Everton though have looked fragile at times, with Ronald Koeman’s side now winless in their last four fixtures. Having drawn their last two, and scoring just two goals in their last four matches, the Toffees need to up their game if they are to keep pace in the Europa League race.
A hard-fought match should be expected tomorrow but Everton have the players within their squad capable of making the difference.
Heaton, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward, Gudmundsson, Marney, Hendrick, Boyd, Bamford, Vokes
Stekelenburg, Coleman, Jagielka, Williams, Oviedo, Gueye, Barry, Bolasie, Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku
Everton have won their last 3 matches against Burnley in all competitions.
