Real Sociedad are without injured trio Imanol Agirretxe, Carlos Martinez and Yuri- whilst Aritz Elustondo is suspended.
Meanwhile, Real Betis’ only injury absentee is Antonio Sanabria and they also have doubts regarding the fitness of Aissa Mandi.
Real Sociedad achieved a good result last time out at home, defeating high-flying Las Palmas 4-1, in what is thus far their only victory of the season. Sat in the bottom-half of the table and unable to keep a clean sheet in any of their last four, the omens for the Basque side look pretty bleak.
Meanwhile, Real Betis have also had an inconsistent start to the season- with two wins, two draws and two defeats from their opening six fixtures. However, they’ve lost just one of their last five and that defeat was a rather undeserved result against Sevilla.
Real Sociedad’s strong home record will give them confidence heading into this once, as will their good recent record against Betis, but a share of the points for both sides is the likely result.
