Competition: Serie A Date: Saturday 17th September 2016 Venue: Stadio Olimpico Kick-Off: 17:00 BST
Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi will have a full squad available for selection this weekend, with Keita Balde expected to play after being heavily linked with an exit over the summer.
Pescara also have a full squad to select from, with manager Massimo Oddo likely to overlook Alberto Aquilani and Rey Manaj.
After a draw against Chievo last week, which is not necessarily a bad result, Lazio will be looking to return to winning ways having not secured three points since the opening day of the season. Whilst many would expect them to achieve that aim against newly-promoted Pescara, Lazio face a stern test ahead of them.
Last weekend, Pescara performed valiantly against Inter Milan and were unfortunate to come away with nothing following Mauro Icardi’s late brace. Massimo Oddo has received vast praise from his side’s performances so far this term and a point at the Stadio Olimpico is a great result and a realistic aim.
Oddo started his career with Lazio and should get a warm reception from the supporters but the home fans may end up disappointed, as Pescara will be confident of extending Lazio’s winless run to three matches.
Marchetti, Basta, Bastos, De Vrij, Radu, Parolo, Biglia, Lulic, Anderson, Immobile, Keita
Bizzarri, Zampano, Gyomber, Campagnaro, Biraghi, Memushaj, Cristante, Brugman, Verre, Benali, Caprari
Pescara have conceded at least two goals in all three of their Serie A matches this season.
Lazio are winless in their last two Serie A matches.
