The Group Stage draw for the Europa League took place this afternoon and handed the two English clubs, Manchester United and Southampton, difficult tasks.
Jose Mourinho will face a tough test in a group against Fenerbahce, Feyenoord and Ukrainian side Zorya but will be confident of getting out of the group- especially with the abundance of talent the Portuguese squad has at their disposal.
Southampton will also face a difficult test, particularly against Italian giants Inter Milan, whilst Sparta Pragua and Beer-Sheva, who were knocked out of the Champions League Play-Offs by Celtic, are both capable sides that will give Claude Peul’s side a run for their money.
Elsewhere, Irish outfit Dundalk will have to travel a long way in their group to face opposition in Holland, Russia and Israel, whilst Astra’s reward for knocking out West Ham United last night is a draw alongside Viktoria Plzen, Roma and Austria Wien.
