Antoine Rabillard scored six minutes into injury time for 10-man Marseille, giving them a 1-1 draw at the Stade Velodrome against Lille. The last minute goal cancelled out Sebastian Corchia’s 57th minute opener, before Abdelaziz Barrada was sent off for Marseille on 82 minutes.
Despite the last minute equalizer, it meant that Marseille are now winless at home in their last nine matches, setting the record previously set in 1962.
Georges-Kevin N’Koudou nearly put Marseille ahead, when he forced a save out of Victor Enyeama, but the Lille keeper was equal to anything that Marseille shot at him.
Lille handled the pressure well, and took advantage of Marseille missing their chances, when Corchia chipped Steve Mandanda from a tight angle, following some great build up play from Rio Mavuba.
When Barrada got sent off for his challenge on Lille striker Yassine Benzia, it looked like Lille would hang on for a vital victory, but when Paolo De Ceglie fired in a cross, which was parried by Enyeama, only for Rabillard to nod in deep into stoppage time to give L’OM the point.
