Emmanuel Imorou will miss the visit of Nice through suspension, after his sending off against Montpellier last weekend. Damien Da Silva and Herve Bazile will also be sidelined until the Wednesday visit of Lille through injury.
Alassane Plea and Mickael Le Bihan are still out with long-term injuries, but Ricardo Pereira and Mahamane Traore are close to returning to action. Claude Puel should be able to pick his first choice centre-backs, with Mathieu Bodmer returning soon.
Caen managed to put themselves back in top-four contention after the secured their first win in six league match last weekend. After their amazing start to the campaign, Caen have been going through an expected dip in form, but with their win last week, they could return to form and push for a European place.
Nice moved into the top-three for the first time since 2008 after their 2-1 win against Lorient. Claude Puel’s men must win this game in order to keep the pressure on Monaco in second place. Nice will be confident that they can keep up their good form, as they have already beaten the hosts three times this season.
